The Sports 360 exhibit at the Daniel G. and Carole L. Kamin Science Center (formerly Carnegie Science Center) represents the facility's largest new permanent immersive installation, designed to transform a traditional museum setting into a dynamic, live competitive environment. IMMERSED faced the challenge of taking lighting beyond static illumination so that it actively drives energy, interaction, and performance throughout the space. To captivate visitors of all age groups, the design integrates distinct activity zones—ranging from sprint tracks to reaction stations—that use real-time visual feedback and intuitive spatial lighting to seamlessly guide guest flow.
